Last Friday, September 18, 2026, we celebrated the growth, individuality, and self-expression of the individuals we support at our 2026 Entrust Art Show.
This year, the art show expanded to multiple locations to create a more engaging experience for our guests. Attendees enjoyed a variety of interactive activities, including a live portrait artist, a henna station, and a fingerpainting station to create community art.
Art is one of the many avenues of empowerment for our artists. With over 70 artists participating and 300 artworks displayed, each piece of art reflects their personalities and unique quirks. A common theme for our individuals is their love for Super Mario characters, Minecraft, and building LEGO sets. Canvases display a variety of interpretations of sunsets, rainbows and the twinkling night sky.
In this art show, we discovered the beauty in mundane things, the resourcefulness of the individuals in using materials such as scraps, cardboard, and thread to create something extraordinary. The variety of artistic talents on display include painting, drawing, handmade jewelry, puzzles, digital illustration, diorama, and much more.
We are so proud of all the individuals who participated and shared their work. It was such an impressive feat of creativity and imagination. It was a joy to see the faces of the artists talk about their works and read the stories of how an artwork came about.
The success of this event is not possible without the support and hard work of our Entrusters. This is a reminder of why we do what we do: to create meaningful experiences for those we support, and to facilitate opportunities for our individuals to showcase their artistic sensibilities.
